      <image:title>about</image:title>
<image:caption>Kathleen’s design career has spanned a broad range of projects from historic landmarks to retail flagships to hospitals and private residences. Since founding her practice in 2013, her work has been focused in healthcare, education and residential design. She is an excellent collaborator, often partnering with architectural firms to lead design in a variety of roles: architecture, interiors, branding and wayfinding. Currently Kathleen is leading the design of a new West Campus for KIPP:Columbus, a charter school, that will double the K-12 student population to 5,000 low-income students with two new buildings. Starting in 2014, she designed multiple buildings on the East Campus and developed a visual language to express the school culture throughout each building. She is also leading the branding and wayfinding design for a new in-patient tower at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Kathleen has been a leading member of the architectural design teams of three healthcare facilities and a conference center on Nationwide Children’s campus, and has consulted on designs of several other campus buildings. While at Beyer Blinder Belle, she worked on the renovation and restoration of major New York City Landmarks. Her projects included the renovation of the concourse, street and mezzanine levels of Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station, and the restoration of the lobby of the Chrysler Building. She also designed private residences on Fifth Ave, in Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights, the NYC Seaport and Nantucket. Throughout her career Kathleen has worked in retail design, starting at Ralph Lauren on the in-house store design team opening stores in North America, Europe and Japan. She has worked for multiple brands on flagship locations such as Hermes, Henri Bendel, and Victoria Secret. For over a decade, she led an in-house prototype design team as Senior Vice President for Lbrands. Kathleen earned her Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a registered architect in New York and a certified New York State WBE business owner.</image:caption>
